This compact house of 3000 square feet has a seemingly simple open plan that reveals itself as a series of well-proportioned, multi-use family spaces. It has well-resolved (and sometimes whimsical) building details, making it an interesting home.

It demonstrates how design can go hand-in-hand with cost-effectiveness, without sacrificing the final product. Located in what was once a quiet suburb of Kuching, the neighbours are currently building new houses. Two of the neighbours are our clients.
